End-to-End # 9 Lions Club Westport to Narrows
|Level 2, moderate pace, 13 km. Hike the escarpment along north shore of
Upper Rideau Lake and take part in the Plaque Dedication Ceremony at Foley
Mountain Outdoor Centre at 11 am, lunch, then follow Rideau Trail to
Narrows. See Sunday June 23rd hike and consider camping at Murphy's
Point for the weekend. Contact leader if not meeting at Canadian Tire

Foley Mountain Celebration and RTA Plaque
|Celebrate with us in this great park! Full day OR afternoon hikes to
fit all levels of fitness. Unveiling of the new plaque at Foley Mountain
Interpretive Centre at 11 am followed by lunch (bring your own!). An
afternoon 5-km hike in the Park, almost all downhill (due to shuttle
service). Also, an afternoon level 2 loop hike. |

End-to-End # 10 Narrows Lock to Lally Farm,
Murphy’s Point Provincial Park
|Level 3, moderate pace, 16.5 km. Plan to camp at the Provincial Park
this weekend to enjoy two hike days or depart Canadian Tire Kingston at 8
am. Shuttle. Gas $10 plus park fee. RT Map #08. Contact leader if not

the quarterly newsletter which includes a list of all the hikes, social
activities for the season, news from each of the clubs, and other
interesting and informative articles.
in the Kingston club are generally organized for Saturdays and/or
Sundays. On some weekends multiple activities take place. These events
are organized well in advance of the day, and are held at a definite
location on the trail or at some of the many scenic places around the
An active group of hikers - The Wednesday Walkers - meet every
Wednesday at 1:30 PM, however, on the second Wednesday of each month, an
all-day outing is scheduled.
RTA organized outings commence with all participants gathering at the club's meeting location. From there, those without transportation or who wish to do so,
car-pool with other drivers to the starting point for the outing. Times displayed for each outing are departure times from the meeting place and are strictly adhered to.
