The membership year in the RTA is from April 1 to the following March 31. If you join after October 31, your membership will be extended to the end of the following membership year. Please note that you must be 18 years or older to become a member of the RTA. There are two types of memberships:

1. Annual Individual Membership - For 1 person at a cost of $25 per year.
2. Annual Household Membership - For any 2 persons, at the same address, at a cost of $30 per year.

Your membership in the Rideau Trail Association provides the financial support essential for the continuous maintenance, improvement, extension, and protection of the Rideau Trail network. As a member, you will receive the quarterly newsletter (hiking articles and each club's quarterly listing of activities), special mailings (such as our very popular E-Letter every 2 weeks), as well as voting rights at the Club and Association Annual General Meetings.

Besides completing your application for membership, you may want to order certain other items which may be of interest. The most useful item would be the Guidebook which contains a set of written directions describing the path of the Rideau Trail along with 12 topographical maps of the trail.
