As a member you will receive the quarterly newsletter which includes a list of all the hikes, social activities for the season, news from each of the clubs, and other interesting and informative articles.

Perth, near the Trans-Canada Highway, is adjacent to many lakes and rivers one of which is the Rideau river/canal system. There is an organized hike about every other weekend that, in the summer months, involves one of these waterways. As well, the Central Club has introduced a program of short Wednesday evening hikes, meeting at 6:00 pm, about 2 hours long, and at Level 1.

RTA organized outings commence with all participants gathering at the club's meeting location. From there, those without transportation or who wish to do so, car-pool with other drivers to the starting point for the outing. Times displayed for each outing are departure times from the meeting place and are strictly adhered to.

All outings for each season are described in the quarterly newsletter where additional details may be found. Further details on these hikes may also be had by telephoning the Perth 24-hour Infoline at (613) 264-8338

Note that outings which require RSVP are not listed on the website.

It's important to arrive properly prepared for the outing, so please consult the leader if you have questions.
