Starting a hike with the RTA
This page summarizes how members should prepare themselves for outings
with the RTA. The key thing to remember is to dress for and be prepared
for weather conditions on the day of the outing. For a typical hike,
Car pooling is organized at each of the meeting places. Passengers travelling with drivers share the cost of gas to the amount specified for each hike in the newsletter. For some hikes which include entry to a conservation area or provincial park, an additional fee is required which is shared among the car occupants.
