Kingston City Hall – Mclvor Road
Check out the boats and ancient fortifications as you leave the Kingston Trailhead and hike west along the Kingston Waterfront. The Trail continues through Lake Ontario Park, with views of the River and Wolfe Island in the distance (that is still Canada out there!). At the end of the Park, the Trail heads north through Urban Kingston, before passing through the Train Station and past the grave of Sir John A McDonald in Cataraqui Cemetery. A stretch of the old railbed takes one to the edge of Town at McIvor Road.

Unusable Boardwalk
The area around the wetlands, with the extensive area of boardwalks, is not usable. The boardwalks are in very poor condition and not considered safe.
