The CRCA posted on Facebook on 7 August 2026 regarding a Cataraqui Trail flooding closure between Maple Leaf Rd and MacGillivray Rd. Although there were no barriers or closure signs at either road intersection as of the morning of the 8th, it has been confirmed that the trail in this section is flooded. RTA Members and Friends hiking from Waypoint 05D to Waypoint 05E are encouraged to take the blue route on Maple Leaf Rd to Billy Green Rd and then follow MacGillivray Rd to rejoin the Cataraqui Trail. This alert will be updated or cancelled as more updates become available.
