Trail Angels wanted!. Trail Angels are volunteer drivers who provide shuttle transportation between the start and end points of a hike. The service helps hikers complete longer one-way hikes without needing two vehicles and can also provide access to trailheads where parking is limited.
Most Angels volunteer their time and use their own vehicles to support fellow hikers and enhance access to the trail.
In the Bruce Trail area, hikers are encouraged to make a voluntary donation to the Bruce Trail Conservancy in appreciation of the service. These donations help support trail maintenance and club programs, and in many clubs donations of $20 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
We at the RTA could choose to do the same, or we could decide to have drivers be reimbursed for mileage and expenses. (Once we have a list of names, we’ll have our Angels take a vote.)

Thank you in advance. I am grateful for the generosity of fellow RTA members and volunteers!
