This roadway is a shared access road between Ontario Parks and a waterfront landowner.
Roadway has recently seen extensive upgrading in preparation for construction of a new dwelling during 2026.
The Superintendent of Murphys Point Provincial Park advises hikers to use caution when using the roadway and to stay clear of construction traffic.
Parking in front of the Bass Bay Road entrance gate is now prohibited and is a designated tow zone.
