West Slide Junction – Skycroft Access
Head out on the Cataraqui Trail again with beaver ponds on both sides of the Trail. Check out Frank’s Culvert on the left, before turning sharp right down a steep hill and into one of the toughest sections of the trail. Admire the huge beaver dam as you work your way up and down to the Upper Rock Lake Side Trail. Stay on the main Trail for a medium level hike all the way to Skycroft Access Trail. Keep your eyes open for the ‘eternal spring’ on the right about a km before the Skycroft.

Where to park when wishing to hike the Skycroft Access Trail is always an issue. RT maps (both map 05 and 06) indicate that there is some parking available.
