10 February 2016: A new post has been added of website changes to give information to site users and contributors of recent changes.

25 January 2026: A new page “Information for Non-Members” has replaced “A View of RTA Activities” providing more information for prospective members and adding the “55 Challenge Digital Badge”, open to non-members.

19 January 2026: The “Volunteering” page has been replaced with an updated “Volunteer Information” post which is accessible outside the Member Hub. Excerpts previous shown on the bottom of the “Membership Hub” page have been removed. This overall change allows for more dynamic updating of volunteer opportunities.

1 January 2026: Two pages of the 55 Challenge information are posted; one general introduction. “Rideau Trail – 55th Anniversary” and one with specifics for badges and log sheets, “Rideau Trail – 55th Anniversary Badges”. Changes also include the addition of the new badge under the “Badges” page.

15 November 2025: A new page, titled “A View of RTA Activities” has been implemented outside the Member Hub in order to give non-members an idea of the activities offered by the Rideau Trail Association.

21 October 2025: Links between maps and corresponding trail alerts were reinstated using standard tags between the two sets of posts. This allowed trail alert links to multiple maps such as those needed during hunting season.

24 August 2025: A replacement for the old Newsletter Archive page has been implemented using standard tables in the editor, simplifying its update, and giving a more polished look.

30 July 2025: Numerous dead links were removed from the web site, and some old web links were refreshed with the newer equivalents. Links to old media outside the Media Library adjusted to new ones inside library.
