Carling Avenue – Ottawa Locks

From 19A to 19H (14.2 Km) you will be mainly following recreational paths shared by bicycles along the Ottawa River to the end of the Rideau Trail at the foot of the Rideau Canal Ottawa Locks. The Mud Lake Blue Loop off this section of trail (accessed from the RT
at Britannia Rd., returning to the RT at point 19C) is a birder’s paradise and is always teaming with wildlife.
