Membership Renewal

Thank you for your interest in renewing your membership with the Rideau Trail Association.

Standard membership includes our quarterly newsletter in electronic format. Delivery of printed newsletters (to addresses in Canada only) is available for a small additional cost.

There are three ways you can pay for your renewal fee, but the RTA’s preferred method of payment is E-transfer, rather than Credit Card. With E-transfer, no payment processing cost are deducted – the RTA receives the full amount.

When paying by cheque, please note that it can be up to 4 weeks before the RTA receives your cheque.

Credit Card (via PayPal):

Please select the type of membership using the buttons below (electronic or printed newsletter) to be transferred to our secure PayPal payment page. Log into your PayPal account if you have one or select to pay with Credit Card or VISA Debit Card. If you do not get these options, select “Try another way” to pay with Debit or Credit Card.

E-transfer:

Please send the renewal fee to membership@rideautrail.org – no password is required. Please indicate in the comment field: “Renewing RTA Membership”.

Cheque:

If you prefer you may pay your renewal fee by cheque made payable to “Rideau Trail Association” and mailed to:

PO Box 15
Kingston, ON K7L 4V6
Canada

Note that it may take 3 to 4 weeks before the RTA receives your cheques by mail. Please be patient as we can only issue your membership card once we have received your cheque.

If you are paying for someone else, please indicate so with your payment or send an email to membership@rideautrail.org

By renewing your RTA membership, you agree to the terms of the RTA liability release waiver and agree and abide by the ‘Hiker’s Responsibilities’ as listed on the Preparation and Trail Behaviour page.

Once payment has been received we will send you (within 3-5 days) a renewal email with your membership information, including an updated membership card.

Thank you and happy hiking,
Rideau Trail Association
